How to add smart search to Wix
Add Indexa search to your published Wix store using the Custom Code settings.
Prepare the catalog and code
Connect your product feed in Indexa and wait for the catalog to load.
In “Widget → Integration”, enter the website URL and copy the universal code.
Before installation
The site must be published and have a connected domain. Make sure Custom Code is available for your website and plan.
Add custom code
In your Wix dashboard, open “Settings → Custom Code”, in the development and integrations section.
Click “Add Custom Code” and paste the complete Indexa script.
Name it Indexa and choose “All pages”.
Choose to load the code once per visit and place it in “Head”.
Click “Apply” and enable the code on the published website.

Use the global code setting. An HTML iframe block on an individual page will not install search throughout the website.

Open your store, then use “Check installation” in Indexa. Select the desktop and mobile search elements and save.
Search for a product, follow its link and close the widget. Repeat on the home, category and product pages.
Test search after navigating between Wix pages. If it disappears, send support the website URL and your installation method. Check the installation again after changing domains.
