How to update the product catalog in store search

Set up catalog updates in Indexa: refresh schedules, manual feed updates, field mapping and checking current product prices and availability.

Automatic updates

Open “Catalog → Feeds → Feed settings”, choose a refresh schedule and save.

Available refresh frequency depends on your plan. Your store must also keep the source feed's prices and availability up to date.

Manual updates

The manual update button queues a refresh. New data appears after the update completes.

If your plan's daily update limit has been reached, wait until the next day or change your plan.

Feed fields and mapping

For nonstandard field names, configure the ID, model and category fields in feed settings. For additional matches, use feed mapping: select the source field and its corresponding attribute.

Leave ID empty to use the standard field. Do not invent field names for a model or category absent from the source. Refresh the feed after changing mappings and check the products.

Update status and errors

Check the last update time, product count and messages next to the feed. If an update fails, the last available catalog data remains active.

Fix the source and start the update again. Old prices or availability may mean that your store's source feed has not yet been updated.
